Succeed to Plan, Plan to Succeed
I've been gone for a while, but I plan to be more active on DA. Just as many rough times there were, I've had more good: I've been featured in a local gallery and I'll be graduating this year. I've been learning new techniques, learning from different artists, and improving my style. I plan to show my works from the past few months before I submit my current works. So, here's my top resolutions: Be more active and continue to improve, artistically and emotionally.
What makes an artist popular here?
Is it the number of page views, comments, faves or watchers they have? Could it be how they use their artistic talents for commissions? Is it the subject of their artworks? I don't know at all. The only thing I know is that I'm happy to be an artist no matter where I stand! I don't need a million views, 102 favs a day after I submit a work, or having points in my account. These are things I want , not the things I need to be a great artist. I may be Firewario on DA, but I'll always be Taylor. I draw what interests me, use the medium I like, and love what I do. I don't need to doubt myself, I just need to work hard each day and keep working.I'
